Shipping & Handling
Free Shipping Policy. The minimum order amount for
free shipping applies to the
SUBTOTAL of the order and is subject to the following:
* The "ship to" address must be within the continental United States.
* Large items, such as the plush Lion, Garaffe, etc. and extra heavy items such as the gand piano, play table, etc. are excluded from our free shipping offer.
* The order may only use UPS ground shipping unless you are willing to pay for the faster service.
Shipping Cost Policy (for orders not qualifying for free shipping. When our shipping cost calculator over-estimates the shipping cost, it is our policy to refund any significant ($2. or more) difference charged over the actual shipping and handling cost.
A $2 handling cost is added to the shipping cost of each order to help offset our packaging costs.
Zip code notice: For some zip codes, such as military bases, etc., the shipping cost shown/charged is incorrect (usually zero or only the handling cost). In these cases the actual additional cost for shipping and handling is applied to the purchaser's order total, and we attempt to notify this person of this amount, using the contact information provided with the order.
Shipping Time. The time needed to ship merchandise varies depending on the shipment's location and the particular time of year. Customers may normally expect a 3-14 day delivery time.
Shipping Methods. Merchandise is shipped using Ground Service where possible. In addition, some items may be shipped directly from the manufacturer to customers.
We normally ship via UPS, but when it does not deliver to a particular zip code, such as a military base, then we normally ship via the US Postal Service. We occasionally, at our discretion, ship an order with an "other-than-normal" carrier and attempt to notify the purchaser of this.
Damaged Shipments. Damaged shipments from handling must be claimed with the freight carrier. If any cartons are missing or damaged, be sure to note this on the freight bill. If you notice concealed damage after the driver has left, keep all the packing, call and ask the carrier to return and inspect the damage, and file a claim. We cannot be responsible for damage caused by the freight carrier.
Manufacturer's Defects. If a product appears to have a manufacturer's defect, contact us for instructions. Do not return products to us without first notifying us to receive instructions.
Returns If you are not satisfied with a product for any reason you may return it. For a full refund (less shipping and handling) of the purchase price, the items must be in resellable condition and in their original packaging.
No returns are authorized after 14 days from the receipt of shipment.
Once a return has been approved
1. Return the item to the address given to you.
2. Keep your shipping records for proof of shipment in the event of loss of returned merchandise. Returns shipped via U.S. Postal Service (U.S.P.S.) or with a value of over $100.00 should be insured. We are not liable for returned merchandise that does not reach us. We will notify you via phone, mail, or e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You may expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 7 to 14 business days of our receiving your return.
We cannot refund shipping costs unless the return is a result of our error. Your are responsible for all freight charges on your shipments that are refused or returned through no fault on our part.
